We are a community-based Cleveland youth mentoring service designed to actively engage youth in Greater Cleveland to become involved with programs and civic activities that improve the quality of life for themselves, their families, and their communities.
We are committed to:
1) Providing positive adult role models that are responsible for ongoing guidance, support, personal interaction with, and accountability for, youth.
2) Developing programs and services that will deter youth from the delinquent activity and foster appropriate behaviors and attitudes.
3) Educating and guiding youth to make informed, positive life choices and increase the likelihood of a successful transition to adulthood and responsible parenthood.

Sports Training and Mentoring Program for Cleveland Youth
Sports training combined with youth mentoring is a life-changing experience for our young people aged 5 to 14 years old. Our sports training and mentoring program in Cleveland provide them with the skills and confidence they need to achieve success in their chosen sport AND in life. Impact Youth’s program is designed to help Cleveland youth discover their true potential, teaching them essential life skills that will benefit them for years to come. With our experienced mentors by their side, these young people will grow into confident leaders who are ready to take on whatever comes their both on and off the football field and basketball court. Meet Our Leaders and Youth Mentors
It is critical more now than ever for our youth to see strong leadership.
Impact Youth, Inc. is a youth mentoring program in Cleveland Ohio. We are community leaders and youth mentors who are also accomplished youth sports coaches. We set the standard of excellence in our households, our workplace, and our community. As youth mentors, we model this standard of excellence for our youth, providing a template of success now, into the future, and for generations to come.
We combine intense sport skills training with character training, tutoring, and life coaching for youth in Cleveland Ohio. In this way, we develop the total athlete mind, body, and spirit. We prepare student athletes physically, mentally, and emotionally for pursuing sports careers through high school sports, college, and even at the professional level. We teach our area’s young people how to make positive life choices that improve the quality of life for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Shawn Austin Sr- Chief Executive Officer
Born and raised in the Bellaire-Puritas community in April of 1972, Shawn attended local Cleveland schools in the Bellaire-Puritas community while playing youth and high school sports. Shawn played youth football in the early to mid 1980’s for a westside Cleveland Muny football team called the Cudell Deacons (named after Cleveland Brown’s player Doug Deacon). Shawn also played high school football at John Marshall High School leading the team to it’s first City Championship in several years, his junior year in 1989 as a starting quarterback. Shawn also attended college at Cuyahoga Community College and he University of Akron as a business major. However, Shawn feels as though his greatest accomplishments is his commitment and contribution to the inner-city youth where he has served as a volunteer youth mentor, trainer, coach since June of 2005 in the Bellaire-Puritas community. Shawn has spent 35 years either playing, working, raising a family, mentoring, or coaching to better improve the overall quality of the Bellaire-Puritas community in which he grew up in.

In being a complete youth development organization, academics are our priority. We have “Student Athletes” because “student” comes first. Being a student is very challenging and Covid-19 presents many unique learning opportunities that, at first, can distract focus away from actual learning. There is help!
We place high importance on education as key to improving quality of life on every level. We partnered with local experienced educators and leaders with reputations for educational excellence to develop an effective tutoring program. Mentoring is a process. This process begins the moment a student-athlete signs with Impact Youth.
Our Coaches, Mentors, and Educators lead by example. We combined the best of our education, experience, and passions to build a youth mentoring and sports program of accountability. We decrease the risk of deliquency by guiding a successful transition to responsible adulthood. This is the most important way we, as leaders, mentors, and educators, can all give back.
